Grocery shopping has started to feel like an extreme sport, and not the kind that seems fun! Every trip to the store makes you wonder how a single bag of groceries now costs just as much as a full cart used to. With inflation hitting hard in Utah, Nevada, and California, it seems like EVERYTHING is way more expensive than it even needs to be!
Hold onto your carts! There's a light at the end of the tunnel. Have you ever had Aldi? It's a grocery chain that is taking the US by storm for being SUPER INEXPENSIVE! California already has over 100 Aldi locations. Utah and Nevada are being filled with rumors that they could be next! Henderson, Nevada is already planning for one!
Why Aldi?
Now, Aldi isn't your typical grocery store, it's all about savings! You rent a shopping cart for a quarter, and when you return the shopping cart, you get your quarter back! They also don't have plastic bags, they want you to bring your own. Also, the cashiers don't bag your groceries either. It's a little quirky but it helps save a few bucks on our end!
