America’s “BEST BURGER” Is No Longer In-N-Out… But It’s ALL OVER Nevada!
America’s Best Fast Food Burger: In-N-Out Knocked Off the Throne!
When someone says "best burger in America," it’s easy to picture the In-N-Out Double-Double, right? For years, West Coasters in Nevada have crowned In-N-Out as the ultimate burger king (No, not Burger King). But according to USA Today, that’s no longer the case! Yep, the Double-Double has been dethroned, and the new champ is a burger from a chain you’ll find all over Nevada.
USA TODAY'S TOP 10 BEST FAST FOOD BURGERS IN AMERICA:
#10 – The 1921 Slider at White Castle
Don’t let the size fool you—this little guy packs a punch. Nevada has a couple of White Castle locations, but if you’re in Utah, don’t worry—you can grab these sliders from the frozen aisle at Walmart. They’re surprisingly good for microwaveable food!
#9 – Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger at Carl’s Jr.
Now, this placement feels like a slap in the face! Smoky BBQ sauce, crispy onion rings, and bacon? This is my personal go-to. How did it only land at #9?! Total injustice.
#8 – Burger King Whopper
The Whopper is a classic, no matter what the haters say. People seem to love dragging Burger King lately, but let’s give credit where it’s due. This burger is still a solid choice—though I might love their breakfast menu even more!
#7 – ButterBurger Double Cheeseburger at Culver’s
Culver’s might be a Midwest staple, but it’s gaining a loyal fanbase out west. The burgers are fantastic, but let’s not forget their cheese curds. If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re missing out!
#6 – Double Meat Whataburger at Whataburger
Whataburger fans, don’t come for me, but... this burger is great, just wildly overpriced! Delicious, yes, but do I need to drop a fortune for a fast food burger? No thanks.
#5 – Five Guys Cheeseburger
Why is this so low on the list? This deserves at least #3! Also, can we talk about the lack of drive-thru windows? If Five Guys had drive-thrus, I’d eat there so much more often. Seriously, I’m lazy, and I know I’m not alone!
#4 – Jumbo Jack at Jack in the Box
A solid burger from Jack in the Box. Northern Utah just got its first location, and people were lined up for blocks! Is it good enough to wait an hour in line? Debatable, but it’s a tasty pick.
#3 – BBQ Rodeo Burger at BurgerFi
This one caught me off guard. BurgerFi isn’t as well-known around here, but apparently, they’ve got the BBQ game on lock. I might need to track one down to see if it lives up to the hype.
#2 – In-N-Out Double Double
Okay, breathe, In-N-Out fans. The Double-Double is still a legend, but it came in second place. I know, it’s a tough pill to swallow for us West Coasters who treat it like a sacred institution.
#1 – Habit Burger & Grill’s Double Char Burger
And the new champ? Habit Burger’s Double Char Burger! With over 250 locations in California and a growing presence in Utah and Nevada, this flame-grilled masterpiece has claimed the crown. If you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for?
So, there you have it! Whether you’re mourning In-N-Out’s slip to second place or rushing to Habit Burger for a taste of the new king, one thing is clear: the burger wars are far from over. What do you think—did USA Today get it right? Time to hit up Habit and find out for yourself!
