Are You Kidding Me, St. George? Give Mia Bailey The Death Sentence!
On Tuesday night, June 18th, Mia Bailey entered their parents house and decided to shoot their mother and father multiple times. That's not all. Next Bailey attempted to shoot and kill their brother and sister-in-law, while trying to shoot them through a bedroom door before they escaped. Next, Bailey decided to go on the run in our community, scaring residents and locking people down in their homes. The next day Bailey was found and arrested by SWAT in Washington.
NO DEATH PENALTY?
However, now, The Washington County Attorney’s Office has announced that they will NOT be seeking the Death Penalty for Bailey's two murders, one attempted murder and several other felonies. ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE. Put this person to death.
NO REMORSE:
When arrested, Bailey told police “she did not have remorse for her actions and that she would not change what she had done. Mia stated, ‘I would do it again. I hate them.’”
SHOULD THEY BE PUT TO DEATH?
In my opinion, Bailey should ABSOLUTELY be put to death. They murdered two people... THEIR PARENTS. The people that raised them. Then, attempted to murder two more people: Their brother and sister-in-law. If anyone should receive a death sentence, it should be someone that could gun down their family members in their home.
Many people believe that a worse punishment would be life in prison. I used to believe that too... Until I learned more about these prisons. Their not nice, by any means... But you get meals everyday, tv, their own space, outdoor time, activities, and more! A lot of convicts leave prison after a very long prison stay and desire to go back. Also, let's not forget OUR TAX DOLLARS are paying for these people! Sometimes I wish we were in the old days where there is swift and quick justice. I'm not saying they should cut Bailey's head off in the street with everybody witnessing, but the fact that they're not putting this monster to death is BAFFLING to me.
Where do you sit on this issue? Should Mia Bailey be put to death? Should they just serve life in prison? Their parents didn't get a chance to live, I don't think Mia should either.
