Costco fans! It's time to really celebrate! We've all been waiting for this moment for a long time. Costco has FINALLY come to their senses. They're finally ditching Pepsi and they're finally bringing Coke back into their food court! After decades of Pepsi in the food court, Costco is finally doing the right thing!
For decades, Coke was the star of Costco food courts, the perfect companion to that absolutely LEGENDARY $1.50 hot dog combo. But in 2013, tragedy struck. Costco stunned us all by switching to Pepsi, leaving Coke fans across Utah absolutely REELING. Thankfully, the dark days are over! Costco has officially announced that Coke will be back in food courts this summer, reminding us all they know what real quality tastes like.
Let’s be real with eachother here—Coke is on another level. That crisp, refreshing, some call it "Spicy" flavor paired with a hot slice of Costco pizza? It’s pretty close to perfection. And if you’ve ever made the mistake of pairing a Pepsi with a churro, you know it just doesn’t hit the same. Not even close! This announcement feels like a victory for everyone who’s been holding their breath, waiting for Costco to do the right thing. Finally, the superior soda is back where it belongs.
But Coke isn’t the only change that has hit Costco lately. You probably noticed the new card-checking policies at the door. Remember the days where you would flash your card and strut in? Now, shoppers must scan their cards and the photo on the membership will need to match the person at the door. This has caused some friction, especially for couples who share a membership but only have one spouse’s photo on the card. Many spouses have been turned away at the door.
