Former Olympic Skier Found Dead In Iron County Jail

A former Olympic skier has died at a jail in Cedar City. Jeremy Nobis was found dead in a cell at the Iron County jail yesterday. Nobis placed ninth in the giant slalom while competing for the United States in the 1994 Winter Olympics.

Nobis was jailed earlier this year after failing to appear in court in 2021. No foul play is suspected in his death.
