Utah Is The #1 State In The Country For HALLOWEEN SPIRIT!
We did it! We did a three-peat! Utah has JUST been named the state with the most Halloween Spirit for the THIRD year in a row!
According to a study by Lombardo Homes, Utah is #1 AGAIN at our devotion to decorate for Halloween. Mississippi, however, is the state LEAST LIKELY to decorate for the spooky holiday!

The LEAST LIKELY to decorate for Halloween are Iowa, Minnesota, and Mississippi. When it comes to decor, the West Coast likes Bats, while the East Coast is much more into Pumpkins. However, in Utah, the #1 Decoration for Halloween is the skeleton.
But do you decorate INSIDE Lombardo Homes or OUTSIDE... or both?! According to the survey, MORE people decorate inside than outside. 67% of people said they decorate inside their home, while 61% decorate outside, but 54% say they decorate BOTH inside and outside.
In Utah, the majority of people (41%) are decorating for Halloween during the first week of October. The next highest is BEFORE October 1st (21%), followed by October 8-15 (17%), October 23-30 (14%), and October 16-23 (8%)
