It’s Coming: Southern Utah Is PISSED About Costco’s New Change!

It was announced today that the MEGA retailer, Costco is making yet another change. It was announced weeks ago, that Costco would be raising their membership prices, but now another change will affect members and non-members alike.

If you go to Costco, you know that you have to flash your membership card to the employee at the front door. Well, that will soon be changing! Costco will be installing kiosks where you will be required to SCAN your card, or you will not be let inside. This change will be coming over the next few months at EVERY Costco location. Not only will you have to scan your card, but if someone is using YOUR card, you will have to be with them! That's right. Guests will need to be accompanied by a valid member in order to enter the store. No word on how they will confirm this, however.

NO MEMBERSHIP, NO HOTDOG!

This isn't the only change coming to Costco! Before, you were able to "sneak" into the food court and partake in the food at the food court. Now, that is a thing of the past! If you don't have a valid membership, you WILL NOT be able to enter the store whatsoever. Yes, that means no more hotdogs, pizzas, chicken bakes, or ice creams!

THE SILVER LINING:

Costco stated that because you will scan your card upon entering the store, you will no longer need to scan your card on the way out, or show your ID. This change will affect around 52 million members, and millions of non-members across the globe.
