Last Year...

The Mustangs won the program's first ever state championship when they beat Snow Canyon  8-7, 6-0 in a two game sweep.

This Year...

Coach Abbott: "We got moving right after [the championship], we enjoyed the moment all together as a team and a family. Had a really good time reminiscing and then these guys got ready for summer and got better."

"We got back to school in the Fall and ramped it up and played 50 games in the Fall at all levels. Got some good baseball in."

"We lost 4 seniors, and three out of those four guys are college players. We lost seven home runs which is a big number especially in high school."

Jayger Baldwin...

"I'm super excited for this year. I feel like this is the year that I wanna show a lot of things...I've been working on my hitting a lot and just getting the right swing.

Brecken Smith...

"I think we came into last year knowing we were a good team, and then we were able to prove it last year. And I think we have a really good shot this year."

Throwback...

Coach Abbott struck out 12 batters and hit a two run homer against Clearfield in this Media Day throwback. He remembered the pitch he hit "high fastball"!
