Utah is one of the most patriotic places in the U.S., which is why it also has such a spectacular 4th of July celebration.

There are several smaller and city specific 4th of July events across the state with parades and fireworks. However, there is one event that beats them all: Stadium of Fire.

The Stadium of Fire is multiple events all together at BYU. Every year, spectacular drones and fireworks grace Utah skies with thousands in attendance. This year will be no different, though some changes for safety have been made.

Many have already purchased their tickets from the BYU website, and there are few areas remaining. So, if you want to go, grab your tickets as soon as possible.

The event includes a parade at 9 a.m. on University Avenue and Center Street in Provo, UT, street heat or a tailgate party from 5 to 8 p.m. in the west parking lot, and a street dance after the show.

The main draw is Rascal Flatts playing for the first time at the event and as part of the band’s reunion tour. Fireworks and drones will light up the sky. However, an incident from last year has changed a few things.

An incident harming 27 people from a rouge firework box has that particular firework type banned from the event and a new company is in charge. So, attendees can expect a more chill time this year.

The Stadium of Fire is the nation’s largest fireworks and drone stadium spectacle, and it will be huge. Roughly 500,000 people are expected to attend all the events.
