Major Retail Chain Closes 300 Locations: Utah Stores Impacted
Lately, it feels like we've had tons of major retailers closing their doors after decades in the spotlight. Inflation is hurting these businesses, but more importantly, online shopping is hurting these businesses. More people are shopping online in 2024 than in the brick and mortar stores. We've seen businesses like Bed Bath & Beyond, Rue 21, and Sunday Morning, close doors. Another major retail chain has announced that they'll be closing down nearly a third of their stores. 300 Locations will be shut down.

Big Lots has announced that of their 1,389 stores, they'll be shutting down 300 of them across the United States. Utah will be impacted by these closures as well. Three Utah Big Lots will meet their maker in the near future.
