SHOCKING: Southern Utah’s FIRST EVER “Gentleman’s Club!”
St. George has been a city for 161 years now, and NEVER BEFORE has there ever been a "Gentleman's Club" or "Strip Club." UNTIL NOW!
Multi-Millionaire, Jerry Atrick, of Palm Springs, California is bringing a unique nightlife experience to St. George: a 55+up Gentleman's Club/Strip Club: Droopyz.
Now, the club will be open to ANYONE at least 18 years of age, but the dancers will be at least 55 years of age. "St. George is home to a thriving community of seniors that still have the energy to get up and dance, and make themselves some extra spending cash!" Atrick said, Thursday. "These type of clubs are blowing up all over Active-Adult Communities across the nation. There's usually a lot of dispensable income too. We're excited to bring Droopyz to Southern Utah!"
Droopyz, has a wheelchair ramp at the entrance and opens promptly at 5am and last call is 6pm nightly.
Inside Droopyz, the dancers will dance to the artists of their day like:
- Tina Turner
- Aretha Franklin
- "The Godmother Of Soul", Patti LaBelle
- Etta James
- Patsy Cline
- Dionne Warwick
- Gladys Knight
Droopyz is eyeing a March 1st opening. "Get ready to see Ruth in her 2 inch heels sliding around the stage having the time of her life! You'll love her house coat, and she always has hard candies in her pocket!" says Mr. Atrick.
4 Seniors have already been hired and are excited to dance for you. Meet the team here:
From Victorville, California, Ruth steals the show! She loves catching a matinee at the movies and has been a widow for the last 6 years.
Gloria is the newest to the Exotic Dance scene, but she's picked up quick. She enjoys walking her dogs, and crocheting when she's not at Droopyz.
Annette is the wacky one of the group! She's from Denver, Colorado and has been dancing for the last 22 years. "Its the only way I've paid for my prescriptions since Bush's first term!"
Irene is a grandma of 16, and hails from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She loves dancing to Whitney Houstons "I Want To Dance With Somebody" and she also enjoys knitting for the local orphanage.
If you're interested in going to Droopyz... contact your local therapist. This article is SATIRE, and I hope you enjoyed it. But if anyone wants to invest in Droopyz, let's do this! I'm down to make some money and help out some local seniors!
