From worst to best, Here are my thoughts on Southern Utah's roundabouts.

6. The Bloomington Roundabout
Bloomington
Neighborhood vibes. Retiree traffic. Occasional confused tourist.
You might get someone who stops in the middle “just to be safe,” but overall? Manageable.
Chaos Level: 3/10
Mostly polite. Mildly hesitant.

5. Sunset Boulevard Roundabout
Sunset Boulevard
This one sees steady traffic but not full-blown panic.
The main issue here is indecision. People signal left. Then right. Then not at all.
Chaos Level: 5/10
Predictable unpredictability.

4. The Washington Parkway Roundabout
Washington Parkway
Tourists heading toward Zion National Park meet locals trying to get to work.
Rental cars. Out-of-state plates. Someone always chooses the wrong lane and commits to it with confidence.
Chaos Level: 7/10
Bold mistakes happening in real time.

3. Telegraph Street in Washington
Telegraph Street
Busy. Constant. Slightly aggressive.
This is where the “I’m not yielding, I’m asserting” crowd shows up.
Bonus chaos during snowbird season.
Chaos Level: 8/10
You better pick a lane and believe in it.

2. The Bluff Street Roundabout
Bluff Street
Elevation change. High traffic volume. People accelerating downhill into circular uncertainty.
Some drivers treat it like a four-way stop. Others treat it like NASCAR.
There is no in-between.
Chaos Level: 9/10
You enter with faith.

1. The River Road / Riverside Drive Roundabout
River Road
Riverside Drive
Peak Southern Utah driving energy.
Commuters. High school drivers. Out-of-towners. Construction detours. Someone towing a trailer that is absolutely too long for this situation.
Blinkers are optional. Confidence is mandatory.
This is not a traffic feature.
This is a social experiment.
Chaos Level: 10/10
May the odds be ever in your favor.

Wild Card: The Future Roundabouts We Haven’t Built Yet
We all know they’re coming. Growth is undefeated in Washington County.
And we will complain about every single one… until we quietly admit they move traffic better than lights.
If you want this expanded into full article format with humor baked in heavier and a Full Monty pack, I can do that next.
