If you're like the average person in Utah or Nevada, you probably treat your local Target like a second home! If you need a new cute outfit, some snacks, or even a last minute birthday gift, Target is the one stop shop DREAM! Now, however, your favorite bullseye is mixing things up with some new rules! You'll want to pay attention, especially if you feel like you're constantly returning things!

Apparently every year there is TONS of fraud happening at Target, and one of the major forms of fraud is Return Fraud. Their new policy is a total game changer for shoppers in Utah, Nevada, and across the entire United States. According to the New York Post, Target is planning to tackle this issue head on! They're enforcing stricter guidelines that could make your next return a bit more interesting (or frustrating). Their classic 90-day return policy still stands, but they've added a new twist. Now, employees have the power to DENY any return if they even suspect abuse or fraud. So that means if you're trying to pull a quick one by returning some things you never even bought in the first place... Target has their bullseye on you!

Also, if you think you'll be returning something without a receipt, think again! According to Target's new rule: if you don't have a receipt, they can and will deny your return on the spot. So the days are gone of the "I lost my receipt"!

These changes are effective immediately at all Target stores in Utah, Nevada, and beyond. Time to start double-checking those shopping bags before you buy, because Target's watching!
