Can Southern Utah PLEASE Stop TIPPING At These Places?

Tipping has become SO OVERWHELMING! Everywhere you go there's a tip jar, OR... the dreaded iPad turn. No matter where you go, somebody is flipping that iPad, while telling you there's "Just a few questions for ya". The worst part is: I'm SUCH a pushover! I tip everywhere because of the pressure. I feel like if I don't tip, they're going to spit in my food!

Here's a list of the places that we SHOULD be tipping!

Your Server (Obviously):

If you're going into a restaurant and someone is actually WAITING on you, delivering you your food and drinks, you should be tipping this person. Now, you don't HAVE to tip 20%, but if they're doing a good job, you should be tipping a pretty good amount.

Your hairstylist:

If they're cutting your hair, and doing a good job, PLUS giving you a good experience, yes! Tip them! It doesn't have to be a certain amount on this one. Just go with what you feel!

Your Delivery Driver (Pizza Guy, Door Dash, etc.):

Yes, absolutely yes! if these people are picking up your food, and delivering it to YOU... They need to be tipped. They're using their own gasoline, putting miles on THEIR car, so you can sit on your couch, throw them a couple bucks!

Your Uber Driver:

I believe 99% of Uber Drivers deserve a tip, but there's always the situation where your experience is just BAD, and in that case, it's okay to not tip them... But that's so rare.

Your Tattoo Artist:

This one is hard for me because Tattoo Artists (for the most part) set their own prices, so should you tip on top of what they've said their service costs? It feels like a grey area, but hopefully they did an amazing job on something that will be on your body forever, and for that... throw them some cheddar, baby!

Your Massage Person, Nail Tech, Pedicure etc.:

Imagine having to rub somebody's nasty back or feet, or cutting their nails... That person deserves a tip. Come on, man! That's like my nightmare. But they should get an even bigger tip if they gave you such an incredible experience, and they have a real talent for it.

Here is a list of people that we SHOULD NOT be tipping:

ANY Drive-Thru:

Come on, no! I've been to places that literally hand me the little iPad through the window. This is a drive-thru, man! This has gotten out of hand! I'm sorry, Swig, Dutch Bros., Starbucks, but we're looking at you!

To-Go Orders:

This one is a bit of a grey area for me, but you're getting the food THAT YOU PAID FOR, and nobody is serving you... So I say: NO TIP!

Any Self-Checkout Service:

I've seen this popping up like crazy! A self-checkout asking for a tip!? Does the tip go right back into my pocket? I'm the one working here!
