TONS OF FAMILY FUN THIS WEEKEND: Western Legends 2023!

It's a weekend I have marked in my calendar ALL YEAR! Western Legends Heritage & Music Festival in Kanab, Utah. This is my 4th year here and I absolutely love it! Maybe you've never been here before and you need some convincing... I GOT YOU, FAM! These are the reasons you NEED to be here this weekend!

RODEO:

Western Legends

The rodeo happens on Friday Aug 25, 2023 7:00 pm At the Kaneplex Arena.You get all the fun rodeo events and of course the AWESOME Rodeo Food! Purchase your tickets for the rodeo AT THE EVENT! No more online ticket sales.

Food Trucks:

YES! One of the best parts of these festivals is the food trucks! They've got Corndogs, Gourmet Hot Dogs, Fresh Donuts, Teriyaki Chicken Bowls, Gourmet drinks, and WAY MORE! I can eat like a PIG at places like this! SO GOOD!

Country Battle USA:

Western Legends

This is super cool and totally unique! They shut the street down, put up a HUGE STAGE, and bring in bands to compete for $10,000 in a battle of the bands called Country Battle USA! The bands competing this year are: Bellview, Rustic Poets, Cole Hartley, Whitney Lusk, Skylar Geer, and Lennon Roach.

Country Battle USA goes from 11:00am-7:00pm on Friday and 10:00am-5:30pm on Saturday. It's totally free, and the bands are REALLY GOOD and FUN!

High Noon Longhorn Parade:

Western Legends

This parade is AWESOME, and totally a sight to see! They bring in TONS of livestock in this massive parade. I've seen beautiful longhorn bulls, cows, horses, horse-drawn carriages, even a zebra! Kids love it, and adults do too! This event is at NOON on Saturday! Be there!

Vendors:

There are TONS of vendors here at Western Legends! Vendors with Raw Local Honey, Clothing, Hats, Cheeses, Produce, Jewelry, Bags, Blacksmithing, and MORE! You can walk for hours checking out these local vendors!
