Utah’s 10 MOST SNOBBY Cities!
Have you ever met an incredibly snobby person? What is "Snobby"? Well, if you search the dictionary for the definition of "Snobby", you'll see it described as a negative term for someone who believes they are superior due to things like class, education, or social status. In short, a snob pretty much describes someone that thinks they're better than everyone else. Let's dive into the Utah cities that top the charts for their snobbery!
UTAH’S 10 SNOBBIEST CITIES:
10. HUNTSVILLE, UTAH:
Huntsville may be a tiny town up in Northern Utah, but the snob factor is huge! With an average home price of $2.3 million, you can bet that exclusivity comes with the territory. Compare that to St. George, where homes cost about $296 per square foot—Huntsville clocks in at $426 per square foot! Ouch!
9. HOLLADAY, UTAH
Holladay is a stunning place, and it's no surprise some Utah Jazz players choose to live there. With its ritzy reputation, snobbery isn’t far behind. The average home price in Holladay right now is around $900,000. I guess I’m not fancy enough for Holladay living!
8. PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH:
Utah County is known for having some snobbish vibes, and Pleasant Grove certainly stands out. The homes might be a bit more affordable compared to others on this list, but there’s still something about “PG” that makes you feel like you don’t quite belong.
7. SANDY, UTAH:
Sandy is a city I personally love, but that doesn’t save it from making the list! Home prices here range from $300,000 to a whopping $16 million! And if you’ve ever visited, you’ve probably encountered a few “BYU All-Stars” still holding onto their glory days.
6. MAPLETON, UTAH:
Mapleton is a beautiful, somewhat secluded town with a lot of wealth—and with wealth comes a bit of snobbery! Homes are listed at an average of $800,000 but tend to sell for closer to $650,000. That price gap? Totally screams snobby!
5. SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH:
Salt Lake City once ranked among the snobbiest cities in the entire country. It may have dropped from the national list, but it's still a contender here in Utah. I mean, we’ve got The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, so that says a lot right there!
4. ST. GEORGE, UTAH:
My hometown makes it to #4! If you live in St. George, you know the pressure to "keep up with the Joneses" is real. From fashion to homes and cars, people here love to show off—and everyone seems to follow the same trend.
3. DRAPER, UTAH:
Coming in at #3 is Draper! On a windy day, you might spot a few false eyelashes or hair extensions blowing down the street. Similar to Mapleton, homes are listed at $925,000 on average, but typically sell for around $637,000. Draper is definitely snobby, but two bigger offenders are still ahead!
2. PARK CITY, UTAH:
No snobby city list would be complete without Park City. Surprised it’s not #1? If you’ve ever been there, you know the feeling of not quite fitting in. The average household income in Park City is $131,000, and those homes? Gorgeous and expensive!
1. ALPINE, UTAH:
Topping our list is Alpine, where the average home price is a staggering $2.75 million! The median household income here is $162,000, which is $31,000 more than Park City. You’ll find homes listed for around $1.3 million, but some can go up to $10 million!
