WIN OR GO HOME: St. George Little League Team 1 Win Away!

The Snow Canyon Little League team is ONE WIN AWAY from the Little League World Series! But, this may be their hardest challenge yet! Today at 3PM on ESPN, Team Utah will be taking on Team Nevada with the winner punching their ticket to the Little League World Series.

This may sound familiar to you. Last year it was these SAME two teams battling it out to go to Williamsport, PA. Team Utah from Snow Canyon Little League vs. Team Nevada from Henderson Little League. Last year, Team Utah came out on top, but this year... Team Nevada is in the drivers seat.

The biggest challenge for Team Utah today, will be Nevada pitcher, Nolan Gifford. He opened the tournament throwing a ONE-HITTER, and striking out 16 of 21 batters. But he'll be going up against Utah Ace, Brogan Coop. Brogan was apart of the Utah Team that made it to Williamsport last year. But this year, they're fighting for a second chance. Utah has already played Nevada earlier this week and was beat 6-3.

Utah won a nail-biter last night against Montana 2-1. Montana made it interesting in the last inning, before Brogan Coop came in and got the win for Utah.

Today's game will be taking place in San Bernardino, California with A LOT riding on the outcome: A trip to the Little League World Series. Emotions will be high, and temperatures will be mild. If you want to catch the game, it will be broadcasted on ESPN today (Friday) at 3PM Mountain Time.
