Winner of the Riverside Dental Care $10K Smile Makeover is…..

With a smidge over 7,000 votes from over 1,100 IP addresses, this was the biggest contest to date. Our contestants rallied their friends, families and co-workers to vote, vote, vote!

As with all large ticket item contests, emotions are high. We want to thank everyone who nominated, and voted for their friends and loved ones. This is the best turn out we have had and the contestants should feel very loved for the votes they received everyday of the contest. Over a thousand people took the time to vote. Hundreds of loved ones voted everyday for 7 days. That is incredible!

We would like to thank Riverside Dental Care for giving back hundreds of thousands of dollars to our community for the last 30 years with the $10k Smile Makeover Contest, Washington County School District Foundation Teacher Scholarships, and Dentistry With A Heart, (Free Dental Days) for those who cannot afford to go to the dentist. We finally have the finalists for the Riverside Dental Care $10K Smile Makeover on Cat Country Utah. Congrats to Alessandra Vela, Thomas Allred and Brady Hunter!

I would like to nominate Alessandra Vela. Alessandra has a rare genetic disorder called oligodontia. What that is, is she is missing more than 6 or more of her permanent teeth. 12 in total she is actually missing! She has begun the process but is struggling coming up with the funds to finish the procedure. She is a loving mother of 3 and a devoted wife as well. This would be a huge thing in her life.

This is Thomas Allred. He is my very sweet brother who’s always looking out for everyone. All the kids love him, like we all do. He works long hard hours and deals with arthritis and also lots of mouth pain. He’s always had bad teeth and would greatly benefit from a new smile. It would grow his confidence in himself and make him feel comfortable smiling. It is also his birthday this month and how much better could it be then to be chosen for this.

I've know Brady Hunter for about 10 yrs. In that time he has had a very rough time of it. He has a great personality I just wish he would smile more. He has a great smile.
