Yikes: Another HUGE Retailer Is Closing Down ALL STORES in Utah & Nevada!
Uh Oh... ANOTHER huge retailer is reportedly on the brink of filing for bankruptcy... again. This time, it could mean ALL 350 stores, including all of those in Utah and Nevada are shutting down for good! If you've ever frantically searched for a last minute outfit in a sea of neon crop tops, or vintage band tees, this might be a sad day for you.
It looks like "Forever" may not be forever after all. Forever 21 has been struggling to keep up with fast fashion giants like Shein and Temu. These stores offer clothes straight to your door, and they're even cheaper! Now, add in the fact that Forever 21's stores are HUGE (which is expensive to operate), and that is a recipe for real disaster! Forever 21 first filed for bankruptcy back in 2019, but with new ownership, they've managed to hang on. However, now, it looks like the brands luck may have run out!
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR SHOPPERS?
For shoppers in Utah and Nevada, if you have a Forever 21 gift card, now might be the time to use it. Malls in both states are already starting to see some closures left and right. Losing another major retailer could create some more troubles for even more malls. Will the days of "hanging out at the mall" be done? It appears we're heading down that path unless something big happens!
THE GOOD NEWS:
The good news for Forever 21 shoppers is that the brand may still survive in some form! There's a chance that they could still remain alive ONLY online. So you might still be able to score an oversized graphic tee, denim shirt that says "QUEEN" across the back, or jeans that look like you've painted a house in them!
