YIKES! St. George’s ABSOLUTE WORST Intersections!
1. In-N-Out meets Harts:
This one is ABSOLUTELY #1 on the list. It's ALWAYS the worst! AVOID THIS LIKE THE PLAGUE! People getting off the freeway, people getting on the freeway, going to In-N-Out, Starbucks, Hart's, Zions Bank, into Washington, Walmart, Home Depot. It's THE WORST!
2. River Road & 100 South:
This photo doesn't do it justice but WOW it's bad! It's a VERY CLOSE 2nd place. People headed to Chick-Fil-A or TJ Maxx, Five Guys, or Freddy's. It's SO CONGESTED all the time! Watch out for this intersection! You'll be stopped forever!
3. Dixie Drive & Sunset BLVD:
I ALWAYS see accidents here! People pulling out of Maverik or Wendy's trying to cross four lanes of traffic to make a left hand turn onto Dixie Drive. There's so much around, too! Wendy's, McDonalds, Maverik, Zions Bank, Lins, Albertson's, Walgreens. It's just ALWAYS ROUGH!
4. St. George BLVD & 1000 East:
This is home to THE MOST ACCIDENTS in St. George. Right here! The picture is being sneaky... Don't trust it! It's Always the worst right here. It doesn't help that about 1000 feet away you have cars on the right side of the road switching to the left, and cars on the left switching to the right. I mean...
5. River Road & St. George BLVD:
This one is ALWAYS backed up! But luckily, they've added lanes. But I usually see someone rear-ended here! So much traffic, and cars turning left onto the BLVD don't realize it. Plus, so many businesses here. Zupas, Chevron, Texaco, Durangos, Starbucks, Chuck-A-Rama, plus The Zion Outlets!
6. 700 South & River Road:
This one is SUCH A MESS! Especially if you're headed East towards Foremaster Ridge. Suddenly the two lanes turn into three, but ONLY ONE goes through the light. Old timers always pulling out of Harmon's, too! BE CAREFUL!
7. Riverside Drive & Dino Crossing:
This is a fairly new one, but it gets backed up maybe worst than ANY of them! You'll have a line so long, you'll miss 2 or 3 green lights before you get to finally go through! And cars are ALWAYS darting out making a left in front of on-coming traffic!
