3 Freeway Exits That Cedar City Could REALLY USE!

I-15 is one of the BIGGEST interstates in the entire country, and it runs right though the middle of our state! With the amount of growth that is projected for Southern Utah, we need some I-15 Interchanges (exits) badly! The St. George Area now has eight exits with nine & ten on the way in the coming years. But Cedar City ALSO really needs some exits up there on I-15!

Here are some of the TOP SPOTS that I believe could really use an exit on I-15 in the Cedar City area:

Enoch off Midvalley Road:

This one probably makes the most sense for Enoch residents. Instead of going all the way down to Exit 62 and backtrack a few miles back to Enoch.

New University Exit:

Cedar is home to a HUGE University! It would be really nice to have an Exit right by the football field on the East side and student housing on the West side. You would be two minutes to SUU, and we could all avoid Exit 59 that you need to go 20 MPH coming off the freeway. That doesn't feel safe.

Airport/Hospital Exit:

I'm a big believer that we need to have easy access to the hospitals in the area, and this exit would give us REAL easy access to the hospital. This Exit would also bring us a lot closer to the Cedar City Regional Airport. We could be to both the hospital or the Airport in under 5 minutes off the freeway.
