A Look Inside the NEW US Foods Chef Store in St George, Utah

There is a new US Foods Chef Store in St. George, Utah.

If you're like me, you love to check out new places around town. It's been open for a while and I usually like to check out the new stores pretty quick but I haven't made time to stop in until this week. I didn't really know what I was in for, other than it was '"for chefs." I've heard their ads on the radio and I know they sell in bulk to restaurants and if you run a snow cone stand you'll want to get your syrup at US Foods Chef Store.

First thing I noticed was the sign at the front. "Open to Everyone." You do NOT need a membership to shop at US Foods Chef Store.

After shopping at Costco you are probably thinking warehouse style and this experience was similar but the store is much smaller. It has a lot of different bulk items like salad dressings, bar necessities and kitchen/cooking utensils.

So, if you make cost comparisons with the items Costco has in stock then Costco usually wins that battle. However, there are MANY items that Costco does not offer that US Food Chef Store does offer. Wax paper sandwich wraps.

How cute are they? A little pricey and I don't think I need 1000. Anyone wanna split some?

The selection of to-go containers is awesome and it gave me some ideas of what I could make for my kids lunches because now they have an easy way to take it to school.

How about pickled eggs that I have been looking for at every store in the area for months?

YUM! I know some people think its gross and weird but, I love picked eggs. ♥

Who doesn't need this much popcorn and oil?

Oh, I am totally ready for movie night with this haul!

Whoa! Since when is catfish more pricey than salmon?

They seem to have a good variety of meat to choose from in the meat and dairy walk in refrigeration area.

The store does have a produce section but it is MUCH smaller than most stores.

But you can get fresh coconuts, so that's a plus. It is warehouse style and there is plenty of room to get two carts through the aisles. It is a little tight in the fridges though.

In all, I liked roaming around thinking of what I could do with that much food and storage containers. Here are a few of my favorite items at the store....
