Interesting! In Utah You Can Peruse Art While Grocery Shopping?
I didn't know I needed to walk through an art gallery while grocery shopping. Check out some of these pictures of the artwork at a local grocery store in St George, Utah. These are incredible and there are a lot of them, so keep scrolling to see them all!
I usually don't shop at this store because I am not rich and it isn't on my way anywhere, but when my friend wants to stop there for lunch, I go. The soup and salad bar is on sale on Wednesdays and it is delicious. When I meet my friend or parents there I go to my credit union and then shop for a few things that I needed.
Did you guess Harmons? I love that they do this at the end of all of their isles. It makes it so fun to see the different drawings each time I make it over that way for lunch.
These chalk drawings are awesome! I started gathering pics every time I go because I will text them to my husband and we show our kids.
Harry Patter fans will love this one. Hagrid looks so good you don't even have to guess.
Nachooooooo! The Nacho Libre pic is awesome too! There are a ton more you can see below. If you are looking for something fun to check out make sure you head on over to Harmons for your local art tour.
Falling Boulders Block New Roadway in Southern Utah!
Look out Southern Utah! With a lot of new construction, there are roads that haven't settled in quite yet. This particular road is off the Toquerville exit off I-15, heading into LaVerkin, Utah. Crews blasted through the mountain to make another through road to alleviate some congestion that is starting to pile up in the area.
After blasting through the mountain, crews leveled and grated the area and then paved a road. No one thought that the mountain would continue to crumble away. Several rock slides have occurred leaving the roadway full of debris.
The road was not open yet but progress has been halted by the huge boulders that have fallen into the road. These are a lot bigger than they look in the pics.
The largest boulder stands much higher than the road sign which is around 4.5 feet tall. While trying to find out info about this road, I discovered that I am not a good investigative reporter....
There are several things that can be done to sure up the sides of the mountain pass. I just hope that there is another freeway exit coming to the area to help with the flow of traffic that will soon be a problem for the rapidly growing area.
