Movies Filmed In Utah That Should TOTALLY Be REMADE!
Utah is home to so many unbelievable sceneries that movie-making is ALWAYS happening. The weird thing is... When movies are filmed in Utah, they always LIE and say it's Arizona, Colorado, or even New Mexico! But there's been a lot of awesome movies filmed in Utah, and those movies should definitely get REMADE, or at least a sequel!
Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid:
I just watched this show for the VERY FIRST TIME this weekend. It's all about Utah, featuring the most notorious Outlaw in Utah History, and the film was shot all over Utah. Were Butch & Sundance actually killed in Bolivia? Is that just a fake story to allow them to live their lives without being hunted any longer? This movie should ABSOLUTELY be remade again here in Utah! This was the film that got Robert Redford to fall in love with Utah.
Dumb & Dumber 3:
Many people don't realize that Dumb & Dumber was shot mostly all over Utah, instead of Aspen, Colorado and Providence, Rhode Island. Dumb & Dumber To was a flop, so I'm sure we'll never see a third installment, but we should get one! Right back here in Utah aka Aspen. What would Harry & Lloyd be up to? Maybe Lloyd and Harry stole Mary's heart and they connect with eachother via facebook and they want to see eachother again!
Footloose:
This was a big hit in the 1980's. Payson High School has never been more famous! This one doesn't need a sequel, but instead, a PROPER remake. I'm not talking about a remake like they did with Zac Efron. We need a real remake back here in Utah!
The Sandlot:
This is a movie that should be watched every Summer! What if the guys living in Salt Lake City all had kids, and the kids got to play on the Sandlot until a greedy businessman decides he's tearing down the Sandlot to make way for a Maverik?
Forrest Gump 2:
Forrest Gump was such a great movie. Forrest found himself at all these bizarre historical events. There was talk of a sequel soon after the first one came out, but I think now is the time. Forrest would be pushing 70. He'd raised his child, and he's back finding himself around all kinds of more historical events!
What Utah movies do you think could get a sequel or remake?
