Post Malone Calls Utah ‘One of the Best Decisions of My Life’ – Here’s Why He Loves It
Rockstar and Utah resident Austin Post, better known as Post Malone took the stage in Salt Lake City this past weekend. While performing, Post Malone took a break to talk to the crowd about his love for the state of Utah.
WHAT DID POST MALONE SAY ABOUT UTAH?
"I gotta say ladies and gentlemen, moving here to this amazing state was one of the best things I've done in my life, besides having a baby girl. I remember I moved to L.A. when I was a kid and I was like 'Hey! This is kind of not where I want to be.' So I did a show here right on the Salt Flats and I was like 'This place rocks and everyone's so badass' and like a week later, we bought a house here. And I gotta say Utah is one the most beautiful places on the planet and I'm so grateful and so honored to be a resident here, ladies and gentlemen."
NOT THE FIRST TIME HE'S SHOWN LOVE:
This isn't the first time that Posty has shown love to Utah on the global scale. In 2020, Post Malone was on Joe Rogan's Podcast: The Joe Rogan Experience. During the podcast Rogan started talking about Utah, saying: "I think it's really wise that you live out there. I really do. Because you're so wild... There's something about the Utah mountains too. That's a real mountain range. You see that sh*t all the time when you drive around Utah." Malone responded with "It's incredible. You're like a dot on the entire globe...Without sounding corny, it's like you feel like you're apart of something bigger, but you're so insignificant... I'm relaxed, and I'm at peace. In L.A. there's a lot of people who want to drain you!"
