There was a time, here in Southern Utah, where Cedar City was the BIGGER town. Now, Cedar has turned into the "Little Brother", where St. George has blown up and tripled Cedar City's population. But being only 45 minutes away, you'd expect to see some similar stores in each city. That's not the case for Cedar City, though. Cedar City is STARVING for some of the stores St. George has.

Here are the TOP STORES that Cedar City, Utah is DYING to have:

Costco:

This is probably least likely to happen for Cedar City, as I believe Costco requires a bigger population to the area. But Costco is amazing and you can feed your entire family for under $20 at the food court! Someday you'll have your Costco, Cedar City... Someday.

Target:

This actually surprises me a bit that Cedar City doesn't have a Target yet. I lived in a small town in Minnesota once, and even THEY had a Target! This should be at the top of everyone's list for Cedar City. And if you're Target, you should WANT to be in Cedar City!

Olive Garden:

The MOST REQUESTED restaurant was Olive Garden! Olive Garden is great, but thank goodness Cedar has a Pizza/Pasta Factory! I think they've got better pasta anyway. But I do agree Cedar needs more restaurants that are a LITTLE BIT nicer than the average restaurant.

Chick-Fil-A:

This one was pretty highly requested as well. To my understanding, Southern Utah University has a Chick-Fil-A inside the University over there, but can anyone access it? Do you have to go on a whole trek to get yourself a chicken sandwich? That's not fair. Give them a real one with a drive-thru!

Texas Roadhouse:

People LOVE a Texas Roadhouse, and I think Cedar would especially love having one. Cedar is a little bit more country than most areas, and that's Roadhouse's bread and butter! Plus... Those rolls are to FREAKING die for!

Many comments said they didn't want ANYTHING else in Cedar City, scared of the growth coming to Cedar City. Do you agree or would you like to add some new stores to Color Country?!
