What Restaurant Is Coming To THIS Spot in St. George?

If you're a true OG of St. George or Southern Utah, you'll know this place as "The Old Sonic" on Bluff Street. This location was most recently home to La Cocina Mexican Street Food and has been there since about 2015. Before that was The Patio Grill, and before that was Sonic Drive-In. Word on the street is that a WHOLE NEW PLACE is set to be coming to this historic spot... But what is it?!

Sonic:

Come on! Let's just do it. It was clearly built to be a Sonic, you drive past it and you can tell it was totally a Sonic. Plus, I LOVE SONIC! Great burgers, great fries, corndogs, grilled cheese, cherry limeades. Let's do it, Sonic. We want a reunion!

Larsen's Frostop:

Screw it. Let's try again with Frostop and a totally different location. This place is built for people to be outside socializing. That's perfect for Frostop. You get the Drive-In slots for the cars, a drive-thru window, and an area for hanging out, maybe some cornhole! I'm just saying... It makes sense! BRING OVER THE BURGER BOY SIGN!

Hires Big H:

Hires Big H is an awesome drive-in restaurant all over the Salt Lake Valley. They're similar to Frostop, but even better. Burgers, Fries, Sandwiches, Onion Rings, Corndogs, Shakes, Ice Cream. All so juicy and delicious!

Angelica's Express:

Angelica's is maybe the BEST PLACE to get some street tacos in town, but what drives me crazy? It's always SO PACKED! They need a drive-thru window so badly, so this place would absolutely work. Plus, Who wouldn't want to chow down on street tacos in their car? Sign me up! Angelica's NEEDS a second location and this place could be it!

WHAT IT WILL (probably) BE:

If I was a betting man... which, I absolutely am, I would bet that it's going to be yet another Mexican Restaurant. I've called for an end of the new Mexican restaurants in town because we have like 30 or 40 in town already... But I'll still give this place a try when it inevitably becomes another Mexican Restaurant.
