Utahn’s Who Should Do The Halftime Show!
Every year at THE BIG GAME, someone does the halftime show and like 95% of everybody HATES IT! At this point, I don't know why anyone every agrees to do it! Afterward, all you hear about is how "Awful" the show was. While that will NEVER change, here are some people that UTAH would definitely support if they were doing the halftime show!
1. Panic! At The Disco:
Yes, technically Panic! just broke up.. But still I want them to do halftime. Now everyone is probably thinking "Panic! isn't from Utah! They're from Vegas!" Well, kind of. Brendan Urie, the lead singer of Panic! At The Disco was born in a small little town called St. George, Utah. That's right! Brendan Urie is a LOCAL to St. George. His mother moved him to Vegas a few years after he was born!
2. Imagine Dragons:
Once again... People are probably mad! "Imagine Dragons are from Vegas too!" Well, you know that they started the band in Provo right? Radioactive, Thunder, Whatever It Takes, Believer, all hits that we can say originated right here in Utah!
3. Post Malone:
This guy would PROBABLY be the most likely to ever get the Halftime Show. People love his music, but from what I've seen and heard... He's an even better PERSON! He now lives in Salt Lake City full-time and SOME still believe the conspiracy theory that he ACTUALLY does have that big house in Washington up on the hill! GIVE US POSTY AT HALFTIME!
4. Jewel:
WHO WILL SAAAAAAVE YOUR SOUL?! Jewel already did the National Anthem for the "Big Game" at SB30! I like me some Jewel, and maybe that's because she's a Utahn too! Born in Springville, Utah while her dad was attending BYU. Now, this is a long shot obviously. Jewel will NEVER get the Halftime Show, but it's still pretty awesome that she's from Utah!
5. Neon Trees:
Neon trees are another band like Imagine Dragons that got started by LDS kids in Northern Utah, but they never had any GIANT GIANT GIANT hits. Everyone has probably heard Everybody Talks or Animal. Tyler Glenn, lead singer of Neon Trees, used to be on talk shows galore talking about his LDS mission or the fact that he was gay, but still a member of the church. Glenn ended up leaving the church in 2016.
